A World of Spectroscopy Sampling Solutions        Spring 2015

We invite you to read our annual PIKE Reflections newsletter. It has a fresh new look, and is still packed with valuable information about PIKE products, recent activities, and our traditional New Challenge question. This issue's New Challenge prize is a $200 Amazon gift card. For those who favor our hard copy version of Reflections, these will still be available at all of our upcoming trade shows.

High Performance Measurements of Sample Reflectivity
PIKE 10Spec
The PIKE 10Spec produces a collimated beam to illuminate the sample area such that the reflectivity measurement is uniformly 10 degrees. Recommended for measuring the reflectivity of glass per ASTM Standard E1585-93 and also near-normal reflectivity of a wide variety of surfaces including military devices, reflecting optics and AR coated surfaces.  Learn More>
TGA-FTIR for Material Decomposition Analysis

Thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) monitors sample weight loss caused by volatilization and degradation often as a function of temperature ramping using a high precision balance and furnace. TGA only measures the mass loss caused by evolved gas events. By coupling TGA with an FTIR, unique spectroscopic data as well as functional group information of the evolved gases may be now obtained.
