Mitsubishi Introduces Large Capacity 6-Axis Robots
Addressing the need for higher capacity robots
Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. introduces the latest in its line of RV-F Series 6-axis robots in 35, 50 and 70 kg payloads.
These new robots extend the Mitsubishi Electric RV-F Series product line to address applications that require higher payloads and longer reaches, including CNC machine tending, large material handling and assembly applications.
The new RV-35F, RV-50F, and RV-70F robots are especially well suited to the automotive, food and beverage, as well as electronic manufacturing industries.
Valve manifold series with zoned safety capabilities
Asco's Numatics 503 series valve manifold is designed to help the design engineer satisfy the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and comply with ISO 13849-1 while eliminating the components and complexity found in discrete safety circuits.
The zoned safety concept is an integrated approach to machine safety and control that greatly simplifies the design of a redundant pneumatic safety circuit with a manifold system. The manifold can create up to three independent electro-pneumatic safety zones, while also allowing independent non-safe sections to co-exist within one manifold assembly. The manifold can be configured to shut down air and power only to the group of valves that controls the machine's motion in the operator's vicinity.
MICROmoteŽ sensors are miniaturized photoelectric sensors with separate electronic processor unit. Their highly flexible, purely electric sensor cable makes them a genuine technical alternative to conventional fiber optics-with many added advantages for users.
The photoelectric sensor heads have exceptionally small dimensions, excellent technical characteristic values and outstanding flexibility for customer-specific solutions. This makes them ideal for combining optimally with a wide variety of electronic functions, while maintaining convenient operation and maximum visibility. MICROmoteŽ sensors are particularly well suited to installation in moving machine parts and robot grippers.
KADP cable entry systemoffers a simpler and faster assembly for inserting and sealing cables for enclosures, machines and junction boxes. Through the pre-punched membrane, standard cables with diameters from 1.5mm to 20mm can be simply pushed into the control cabinets, panels or machines, and sealing with an IP66 rating.
In comparison to traditional cable glands and cord grips, the cable entry system provides 10 times faster assembly time and a higher packing density, thanks to the tight fitting entry points. In addition, it takes 50% less space than the traditional solutions, which is ideal for cabinets with limited space.
