This will probably be my shortest newsletter ever. I've been super busy with my day job - helping buyers buy and seller sell - so this month's edition basically contains all the normal monthly reports and just a few comments. I still owe my readers the in-depth look at the previous year's sales that I always provide about this time each year and I hope to complete this in time for next month's newsletter.
One observation is that sales activity for oceanfront condos appears to have been the strongest I've seen in several years although it has been spotty with sales in some developments much stronger than others. Also, I've seen more people buying who are not number-crunching investors. They either want true second homes and don't care about rental incomes at all or they only view their potential incomes as ways to cover some of their ownership costs. I think the growing number of buyers of this type has been one of the reasons for the strong sales.
