Brief Alerts |
Please make sure your phone number, mailing, billing and home addresses are current in MyGFU.
Tax season is upon us! 1098T's will be prepared in late January. If you want to receive your form electronically, you can choose this option in mygfu. Go to Student Center>Account Inquiry>Account Services tab. If you have not given GFU your SSN, you need to return IRS FORM W-9s to SFS ASAP!
Filing the FAFSA for the 2013-14 academic year began January 1 at www.FAFSA.ed.gov. If you are working on your bachelor's degree, file early to maximize need based funding! Additionally, if you're from Oregon you will be considered for the Oregon Opportunity Grant (OOG) if you file in January. (OOG funding is limited.)
Getting married next year or during the 2013-14 academic year? Contact your Financial Aid Counselor before filing your FAFSA.
A bill will be posted next week to "View Bills" in mygfu. Login to download the pdf. Remember, as anticipated aid changes, if you refresh the pdf, new aid that has authorized will be reflected. Unfortunately changes to tuition and fees are not refreshed until the next bill but they can still be viewed in mygfu, just not in the bill format.
