Business School Essay Requirements Changing: Read Between the Lines

Despite a trend among business schools to reduce the number of essays required for admission, the application essay is still one of your best opportunities to communicate something meaningful about yourself to the admissions office. At Harvard Business School, where the essay is now optional, only one student in 12 who opted out of writing an essay was admitted last admissions cycle.
