Wow Students Get In!
In a year when highly selective schools offered admission to fewer students than ever, Wow students heard YES from their top choices. Nate from Boston got into Yale; Michigan offered him early admission - and sweetened the offer with $25,000 in merit aid. Maddie from Bloomfield Hills, Mich., was accepted at Stanford. Where Is Wow Now?
Wow is thrilled to be speaking at conferences across the country this spring! Here's what we have in store during the next few weeks:
Wow will be presenting a session at the Independent Educational Consulting Association's Spring 2014 Conference in Indianapolis on May 7: Beyond Brainstorming: Transform a Great Idea into a Top-notch College Essay.
On May 14 at the Novi Public Library in Novi, Mich., Wow will host a workshop: Write Your Way into College. This event is free and open to the public.
Wow Writing Workshop, in conjunction with The Rosa Parks Scholarship Foundation, the Wayne State University Office of Government and Community Affairs, and Detroit Public Schools, will present: How to Tell Your Story and Write Your Future, on May 15 at Wayne State University in Detroit. This college admission and scholarship essay-writing workshop will feature a panel of college admission officials.

It's Decision Time for Prospective College Students (And Their Parents)
The deadline for submitting deposits to hold spots in the freshman class at many colleges and universities is May 1. As this date approaches, students and parents should bear in mind that the most important decision now belongs to them: where to attend?
