Where Is Wow Now?

Wow is excited to be speaking at multiple conferences and panels this spring! Here's what we have coming up in the next few weeks:

 

On May 14 at the Novi Public Library in Novi, MI, Wow will host a workshop: Write Your Way into College. This event is free and open to the public.

 

Wow Writing Workshop, in conjunction with The Rosa L. Parks Scholarship Foundation, the Wayne State University Office of Government and Community Affairs, and Detroit Public Schools, will present: How to Tell Your Story and Write Your Future, on May 15 at Wayne State University, in Detroit, MI. This college admission and scholarship essay-writing workshop will feature a panel and question and answer session with college admission officials.   

  

Wow President Kim Lifton will present on the college essay at the Detroit Communication and Media Arts High School's Career Day on May 20. This year's theme is "Exploring the Pathways to College and Career Readiness."

 

On June 5 Wow will present Better Essays/Less Stress at the New York State Association for College Admission Counseling's annual conference at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY.

Beyond Brainstorming at IECA

Wow's Susan Knoppow and All College Application Essay App Founder Rebecca Joseph packed the house at their college essay presentation during the Independent Educational Consultants Association spring conference last week in Indianapolis. The duo wowed independent educational consultants with the timely topic "Beyond Brainstorming: Transform A Great Idea into a Top-notch College Essay."
