We're Searching for the Next Kingman Dockmaster

Drone 8-27-15
As many of you know, Tara will be leaving KYC this winter after 15 years as an important
member of our management team.  We will all miss her and wish her well.  As is often the
case, challenges present opportunities - and this could be a huge opportunity for you or
someone you know to take advantage of a rare opening with one of the most successful
independent marina organizations in the country.

Before we set out on a nationwide search, we'd like to see if the right candidate is right
here within the Kingman community.  Familiarity with our culture and facility could be a big
advantage for the man or woman who will thrive in this positive,  "brand new every day"
environment.

The Kingman Dockmaster is a full-time, year-round position.  He or she will hire, train and
manage our summer Dock Crew; handle seasonal - summer and winter - and transient
reservations; be responsible for dockhouse and fueling operations; and represent the marina
as our front-line authority, making decisions to benefit the comfort and safety of our members
and guests.  Energy, organization, boating knowledge and multi-tasking abilities are key.

Interested?  Do you know someone who should be our next Dockmaster?  Then please email,
or have them send an email to John Burman (johnb@kyc.us) with a brief introduction and background summary.

It's in all of our interests to have a great Dockmaster.  We appreciate your help in finding
the perfect candidate!
