Set Your Clocks Back to Mark the End
of the 2015 Boating Season

Autumn Sky
It's a sad day for all, but all great things must come to an end.  Kingman Yacht Center will
close for season this Saturday and, as a fitting end to a wonderful summer, daylight
savings time will end on the same day.

While it may be dark before 5:00 for the next 5 months, your marina will be very much
alive all winter long.  The hauling season is in full swing, and we have maintenance,
refinishing, repower, electrical and electronics projects to keep our full-time staff of 25+
very busy.  If you need us, we'll be here Monday-Friday from 8-5 and
Saturdays by appointment.

If you haven't scheduled your boat's winter storage yet, we still have a few in-water and
land spots left.  If you have a winter project in mind, we'd love to talk with you about it.

Thank you all for sharing this epic summer with us!

Thinking of Buying a Boat?
Here are a Few Tips ...

Family Boating
Smart buyers know that the end of the boating season can be the best time to
buy a boat. New boat dealers don't want to carry inventory through the winter, and private sellers face the cost of winter service and storage if they don't sell in the fall. With that in mind, here are some boat-buying tips to keep in mind ....

Rumors and Ramblings
Hikers
The boat's tucked away, but you've got a beautiful autumn weekend coming up ....

How about a little hike?  Join naturalists from the Buzzards Bay Coalition this Sunday (11/1) from 10AM-12Noon for a guided hike along the central section of Cape Cod's Glacial Moraine Trail. Learn about this unique area on this 3.5-mile hike along the slopes of Long Pond in Falmouth.

It's free, and you can register on line or call (508) 999-6363 ext. 219.
Fog Rolls In
Our thanks to our friends at New England Boating for putting together a great video tour of Red Brook Harbor!

Kingman Boaters Ken and Dora Ottariano show NEBO host and editor Tom Richardson what
this well-protected harbor is all about. Along the way they also do a little sea bass fishing in Buzzards Bay and discuss Bassetts Island and
the best way to access the inner harbor.

You can check out the video and get a shot of summer by clicking HERE.
