November 4, 2014                "The best part of winter ...

Thank You for a Great Summer!

Cuttyhunk Cruise 2014

The weather was almost perfect right through September, and our research shows that more of you used your boats more often than during any summer in the recent past!  The KYC Community enjoyed events, cruises and activities every weekend, all summer long.  And most everyone we talked to agreed that it was one of the best

boating seasons ever!

We've got pictures posted HERE, and we'd love to share any others you'd like to contribute.

There were lots of happy memories made this summer. Thank you

all for a great season.  It's lots of fun being your marina!

A Memorable Veterans' Day Observance. Please Help "Operation Flags for Vets."

Flags for Vets

"Operation Flags for Vets" will again be placing flags on the graves

at the Massachusetts National Veterans Cemetery for Veterans Day, November 11th.  The National Cemetery is just off of the Otis

Rotary on Route 28 in Bourne.

They are looking for volunteers to help with this worthy and solemn endeavor.  People of all ages are welcomed to help in the placement of the 57,000 flags on our veterans' final resting places.

A short ceremony will be held at the flagpole at the end of the

Avenue of Flags at 10 AM followed by the actual placement of the flags.  If you can help, please bring a long-shanked screwdriver with you to aid in making starter holes for the flags.  Also, please do not begin planting flags before the end of the ceremony. Flag removal

will take place on Sunday, November 16 at 10 AM.
