Cleaning Out Your Boat for the Winter?
|
Please drop off your unused canned and packaged food items in the bin at the Kingman Parts door so they can be donated to the Bourne Food Pantry.
Don't take it back home! More than 600 families in Bourne depend upon the Food Pantry for help in getting by each year. Leave your non-perishable food in the bin and we'll make sure that it gets to our neighbors in need.
Thank you!

A Memorable Veterans' Day Observance. Please Help "Operation Flags for Vets."
|
"Operation Flags for Vets" will again be placing flags on the graves at the Massachusetts National Veterans Cemetery for Veterans Day, November 11th. The cemetery is just off of the Otis Rotary on Route 28 in Bourne.
They are looking for volunteers to help with this worthy and solemn endeavor. People of all ages are welcomed to help in the placement of the 57,000 flags on our veterans' final resting places.
A short ceremony will be held at the flagpole at the end of the Avenue of Flags at 10 AM followed by the actual placement of the flags. If you can help, please bring a long-shanked screwdriver with you to aid in making starter holes for the flags. Also, please do not begin planting flags before the end of the ceremony. Flag removal will take place on Sunday, November 16 at 10 AM.
