The Holy Fool - Who's Really Pulling the Strings?
This presentation has one simple premise - if you don't have a Fool's perspective you are destined for lunacy.
Maintaining equilibrium in this crazy world is difficult at the best of times, and the Holy Fool is a force of nature that helps us find and keep our balance.
Usually, the Fool does this by knocking us off balance!
This Mercurial energy wanders the borderlands between the known and unknown, between conscious will and unconscious compulsion, between what we consider to be civilized and uncivilized.
When conventional boundaries have become rigid and inflexible, the Fool arrives unbidden and releases unlived energies that are burning to be freed. And conversely, when boundaries are called for, they are supplied.
Flying too high? Count on being brought down to earth. Moving too fast? Count on coming to a sudden standstill. Too full of yourself? Count on a pinprick of deflation.
Rather than being at odds with your Fool energy it makes better sense, and promises to be more fun, to live with a Holy Fool's perspective.
