Entering a New Age of Medicine: Introducing the Domancic Method  

We are entering a new age in medicine. The scientific discoveries, especially in the field of quantum physics, have made us more aware of the energy field around us, its power, and how we work with it. The understanding that everything, including us, is energy, has pushed us into this new age of medicine - energy medicine or Bioenergy medicine. Bioenergy therapy is a healing process that uses life energy to elevate one's health, vitality and wellness.

Bioenergy uses hands-on and hands-off techniques to draw energy into the body - bringing it into balance and alignment. This energy enhances the body's ability to heal itself. We will be presenting one method, The Domancic Bioenergy Method. This method was developed in Yugoslavia about thirty-five years ago by Zdenko Domanacic. It differs from other bioenergy approaches in that there is a specific protocol or treatment for every disease, including such varied issues as sinus problems, heart disease, depression and anxiety, knee pain and scoliosis. In this presentation we will talk about the method, give you some examples of treatments we have done, and then demonstrate one of the protocols. This will be an experiential demonstration.

Ellen Lewinberg M.S.W. Ellen has always been a student of healing, health and wholeness. She is the only Level-3 Domancic Bioenergy therapist in Toronto, was recently trained by Kurt Peterson in his DNA Destruction method for Cancer Healing, and is a Reiki master. She practiced as a child and adult psychoanalyst & psychotherapist for 35 years, founded the Institute for the Advancement of Self-Psychology (IASP) in Toronto, and also founded the Association for Child Psychoanalytic Therapists.

Catherine Stone M.S.W. worked as a Probation Officer with teenagers in the Juvenile Justice System for over 20 years. After a health crisis, she altered her career and has been working as a Shamanic Psychotherapist and Shamanic Women's Group leader for the last 18 years. She began offering the Domancic method after training in 2008.Catherine has a passion for healing through bodily conscious awareness and the gifts brought from the all-encompassing bioenergy source.   

Kim Brodey has been practicing Domancic Bioenergy Method since 2009. She is also an authorized Continuum Movement teacher, leading workshops in Europe and North America. She has studied with the founders of a variety of healing modalities and has been teaching, and working with individual clients, groups and couples since 1972, when she began working as a rural midwife.
