A Big THANK YOU to all Miami Marines who so eloquently voiced their opinions to the Miami City Commission.

Alas, on Thursday, February 28, our Presentation of the Marine Stadium site plan (that was approved by the Steering Committee after five meetings and four power point presentations) was deferred until the Miami City Commission meeting of March 14. The reason for the deferral was that the presentation package was not complete, though we had properly prepared our portion.  There is still time for those Marines who  want to have their voices heard!
Just click on the links below to email the Commissioners and tell them you support our plans to restore the Stadium.

Conclusion

The political road has been time consuming, but we're gaining momentum and we have some great things in the works.  We'll tell you about them soon.

Check out this inspiring visual. Yes, it's Elvis at the Marine Stadium  from his movie "Clambake", shot at the  Stadium in 1967. This may be an early version of photo shop, but Elvis WAS in the building. We want this one on velvet.
