I'm a huge fan and friend of Noel Maloof so this news surprised me at dinner tonight. I have not verified it with Maloof but it is important enough and on a reputable sight so I wanted to let you know as soon as I heard...and yes...before DeKalb County Schools published anything. I have no earthly idea who the replacement will be but KNOW that our community will gladly help DCSS choose! (Thanks Matt P for the scoop.) We have GREAT kids and GREAT families in Dunwoody so we can overcome this if we stick together! Let's work TOGETHER to make sure DeKalb gives us a suitable replacement....Fortenberry, McFerrin....Bass....? (Just me spouting off the top of my head but I want those who can speak up to help us get a GREAT replacement FAST!)

Maloof is leaving DHS....OMGoodness

I'm finding it very hard to post this news. I've emailed Maloof (whom I adore) and haven't heard back from him with any confirmation. I'm in Puerto Rico and my friend Matt P. has ruined my evening by forwarding this article to me. Maloof (in my opinion) is the best thing that has happened to Dunwoody's DeKalb County Schools in...maybe forever. I know...I know...think positive. We can find another great principal..but for the moment I am bereft. But in fairness...Maloof is a great guy. This is great news for him. He LIVES in Decatur and his daughter is a Decatur High Student and his son will soon be there too. What an AMAZING opportunity for him. He DESERVES this and I'm so happy and proud for him.

Using electricity is second nature for most of us. From charging cell phones to watching TV, so much of what we do requires electricity. Protect your home and family from the potential dangers of using electricity by following a few safety guidelines from NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency).
