Wednesday * February 12

I'm actually typing this email late evening on Tuesday because I'm afraid I'll lose power and won't be able to easily send in the morning.  The miracle of Constant Contact allows me to schedule it in advance and it will be delivered on Wednesday morning whether I have power or not!  I hope I have everything I need...I've bought sleds, bread, milk, eggs, meat to grill, batteries, water.  I've gassed up my car.  I have had a chimney sweep check out the fireplace we never use.  I have three fully charged laptops.  All iPads are charged.   All phones are charged.  All phone battery backups are charged.  My camera battery is charged. We have candles and matches and cards and board games. (We love to play spoons and my 6th grader just taught me to play chess!) My children are all home.  I have the Georgia Power Outage Hotline handy. I live in a fabulous neighborhood where I can reach out for help easily if needed.

I just sent my hubby for wine and vodka....

....so CHEERS to limited power outages, warm toes, snuggling with family, laughter, love, and a fabulous community that I love to help keep connected!  audra signature
