Ok, so there are SEVERAL reasons why I'd rather be in sunny California today including the weather, and this little event called the BCS National Championship Game!   I'm trying to remember why I didn't go....the splurge would have been worth it to get out of this weather...I can hardly believe that the low today is actually FIVE degrees!   I'll warm up cheering for my Tigers though!   I have lots of FSU friends too...so I'm hoping for a fun exciting game but obviously rooting for my Alma Mater and wishing I had gotten on the "Gus Bus" and headed to the warm west coast!

Many of my friends are already experiencing school delays and closings in Birmingham so stay tuned to what your local school is doing.   For all of us with kids in DeKalb here's a DeKalb School Weather Announcement letting us know what to expect tomorrow.
