 The Dunwoody High School Volleyball Team is holding Conditioning and Open Gym Sessions in preparation for the DHS Volleyball Tryouts on Thursday, August 1 and Friday August 2.
All rising 8th - 12th graders in the Dunwoody High School attendance area are eligible to tryout and welcome to attend these sessions.

PETS
 My sister-in-law passed away and we have a neutered Tabby cat in need of a home. He has been living in our basement, due to our dog takes allergy shots. (for many things, but yes she is allergic to cats!) I think he is around 7 yrs old and he uses the litter box, but also enjoys going outside for short times. My three girls play with him, and he tolerates all their games I think most cats would find humiliating. But he loves children and adults. Everything comes with him, box, brushes, and toys.

 Its time to sign up for fall ball! We offer 8U, 10U, 12U during fall season. This is when the girls move up to their new age groups, make new friends and learn the game in a relaxed setting with practices and games just twice a week (generally Wednesday and Sunday). Fall is also a great time to play softball for the first time. The atmosphere is much more relaxed which tends to be a very inviting experience for new players to get their feet wet in the sport. Just last month Murphey Candler Fastpitch completed a very successful 45th season. 45 years of teaching girls about teamwork, sportsmanship, and softball skills. The sun shades are in place, the fields look great and the level of play has never been better. CAC is in urgent need of large back packs and school supplies and food for the pantry. The CAC Food Pantry is once again suffering from a shortage of summer donations. Needed foods: Soup, Canned Pasta Meals, Tuna (canned), Canned Meats, Chili, Corn, Peas, Tomato Sauce, Rice, Cereal. We are also in need of large back packs and school supplies for high school students by next Wed. July 24.
