Filing Status- Any major life event changes? If recently married it often pays to file "Married Filing Joint" with your spouse - however if either spouse has substantial personal deductions you should review your taxes and if if "Married Filing Separate" makes more sense because of tax deduction "bunching". If you are unmarried at the end of 2012 and paid more than half the cost to keep up your home for a qualifying dependent (child, parent, to name a few) choosing the "Head of Household" status will save you money.
