You are invited to attend the 13th Semi-Annual National Book of Mormon Evidence Conference sponsored by the FIRM Foundation; the world's largest event of its kind! We are anticipating over 700 to attend this two day event with 15+ distinguished speakers as well as renown artists and musicians.
Big Changes Have Come!
The FIRM Foundation is excited for our Spring 2014 conference! During our last conference we asked participants if they would prefer continuing to hold our conference on the Thursday/Friday before LDS General Conference, or on a weekend before or after. The overwhelming response was to have our conference on a different weekend from General Conference on a Friday/Saturday. Since our conference has effectively outgrown the meeting facilities of the South Towne Expo Center - together with the fact that their entire facility is unavailable due to a huge law enforcement event - our regularly scheduled "conference before the (LDS General) conference" had to find another date... and venue.
New Dates - New Venue!
We are excited to announce that we have moved the conference from the Thurs/Fri before LDS General Conference to the Friday and Saturday three weeks after, April 25-26, 2014. We are thrilled to have been able to secure the gorgeous newly remodeled 700+ seat XanGo Grand Theatre at the Scera Center for the Arts, located in Orem, Utah. In our past conferences folks have been turned away because only 500 seats were available and more wanted to attend. Now we can accommodate over 700 in comfortable theater style seats with a massive 'monster' cinema-sized screen. We are confident you are going to love this new venue! This conference will not be streamed live but will be recorded and put onto DVDs which will be made available for purchase and shipped following the event. Heartland Foundational Research Overview!
The complaints we hear most often stem from those attending the conference who are unfamiliar with the basic Heartland research. They are bewildered and confused at times as they listen to the more advanced research and presentations. We've decided it would be very helpful to spend a half-day giving an overview of the more recent foundational research.
