OKACAA has published its 2016 Directory and Performance Report. The publication provides information on services, key staff, and agency offices for member agencies. It also contains statistical information on services provided by the agencies.

OKACAA's Spring Conference will be held May 4-6 at the Embassy Suites Downtown/Medical Center which is located at 741 N. Phillips in Oklahoma City.

Vegetable Garden Seed Distribution Helps
Promote Good Nutrition
The Community Action Agency of Oklahoma City and Oklahoma/Canadian Counties has for over 30 years been supporting good nutrition among low-income families through a vegetable garden seed distribution program.
INCA 'RAVE' Program Aids People With Developmental Disabilities
INCA Community Services is providing residential and vocational opportunities for people with developmental disabilities through the RAVE (Residential and Vocational Excellence) program.

Governor Issues
Community Action Appreciation Month Proclamation

Governor Mary Fallin has recognized efforts of agencies in promoting self-sufficiency for the limited income in her proclamation declaring May as Community Action Appreciation Month.



Introduction to ROMA Training Available

Introduction to ROMA is a nationally standardized training required by the CSBG organizational standards. Training by Oklahoma Nationally Certified ROMA Trainers will provide training in June, September and December at the Oklahoma Weatherization Training Center in Edmond.
