Partnership Grants
Little Dixie Community Action Agency and Northeast Oklahoma Community Action Agency are among the five state organizations awarded Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership grants by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
CDSA Hosting International Wine Tour Fundraiser
Community Development Support Association will host an elegant International Wine Tour fundraiser March 5 in Enid with proceeds to benefit the YouthBuild program.

Randy Brasee has been named Deputy Director of Washita Valley Community Action Council. He also serves as Housing Director and Early Head Start Maintenance Supervisor. He joined the agency staff as Weatherization Coordinator in 2007.

2016 Poverty Guidelines Issued


The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has issued its 2016 Poverty Guidelines which are used to determine financial eligibility for certain federal programs.

2015 Oklahoma CSBG Fact Sheet Issued

The National Association for State Community Services Programs has issued its 2015 State CSBG Fact Sheet which documents performance outcomes. The 19 Community Action Agencies in the CSBG network provided services to 115,638 low-income individuals in Oklahoma.

Two OKACAA Staff Members to Retire

OKACAA Director of Operations Patty Laub is retiring April 1 after serving 23 years on the staff. Communications Director Robert "Bob" Brandenburg will be retiring June 1 after serving on the staff for 17 years.
