CDSA Renovates Former Department Store in Enid
to House Non-Profits | |
Community Development Support Association raised $2.5 million to renovate a former downtown Enid department store to serve as its headquarters and to house other local non-profit organizations. The Non-Profit Center provides office space, meeting rooms and shared services for co-tenants. The Center recently received an Oklahoma Main Street Award.

Hometown Heart : A Little Kid Gets to Live in a New House | |
Big Five Community Services Housing Director Kevin Jackson wrote a column for the
Marietta Monitor newspaper telling how a new house helped tranform a poor young boy's life. He then asked for two small lots to build houses and infinite possibilities for a kid who might live in one of them. Read the column and the community response.

Boy Scout Builds Benches for United's Transit Program | |
Tyler Peters undertook as an Eagle Scout community service project in Bartlesville to build and install benches at two of United Community Action Program's CityRide Circuit transit bus stops. The purpose of the project was to contribute something beneficial to his community while learning about project management.
