Summer Term 2014: Get Ahead. Graduate Sooner.

Young Adults in Group

Registration for the 2014 Summer Term begins March 17. Summer courses have the same academic content as the Fall or Spring courses, but these courses move at a much faster pace. Many students enjoy being able to focus their attention on one or two topics. They also find that attending classes five days a week improves their ability to concentrate on the subject material. Recent high school graduates can begin their college careers early and complete their degrees sooner by taking summer courses.

2014 Session Dates

Summer Term I: May 19 - June 6
Summer Term II: June 9 - July 11
Summer Term III: July 14 - August 15

The 2014 Summer Term eSchedule is available online now. Visit summerterm.unlv.edu to learn more.

Continuing Education Expands Its Presence Downtown

Downtown Las Vegas is gaining ground as a great place to live, work, and play. In light of this trend, it made great sense for the Office of Continuing Education to expand its offerings by adding more classroom space close to all the action!

Continuing Education classes are now taking place in a classroom on the second floor of Neonopolis, which is located at the east end of the Fremont Street Experience. Read more.

Continuing Education Adds the UNLV Touch to Nightclub & Bar Show

One of the most important bar, beverage, nightclub, restaurant and hospitality events of the year, the Nightclub & Bar Show, is returning to the Las Vegas Convention Center March 24 - 26. Throughout the show, industry professionals will be educated and entertained during what is being dubbed the greatest conference and nightlife program in the show's 28-year history. This year's show will have the added benefit of providing attendees with the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Units from UNLV Continuing Education for participating in the conference. The event draws more than 37,000 nightlife operators, managers, and industry enthusiasts each year.
