Curriculum Night is scheduled for September 9, 2015 from 6:30-8:00. This
is a parent only event that enables us as a school to share important information about school procedures. Classroom teachers will create a presentation that will showcase their classroom curriculum, policies and procedures and provide opportunities for you to ask questions. Some additional tidbits:
  • Please plan on arriving by 6:25 we will start promptly at 6:30.
  • Parent/Guardians only
  • Agenda for the evening;
  •         Introduction of Staff, Advisory Council, PTO Officers
  • Short presentation about school procedures, F.I.R.E. and finance
  • Parent/Guardians released to classrooms - Schedule is as follows:
  • Preschool - 5th grade
        7:00-7:25 - Session #1
        7:30-7:55 - Session #2
6th-8th grade
        7:00-7:15 - Session #1
        7:15-7:30 - Session #2
        7:30-7:45 - Session #3
        7:45-8:00 - Session #4
  • We will announce on the intercom when to switch.

Chargers' Challenge 5K

Please consider joining us for our 3rd annual St. Charles Chargers' Challenge 5k race and 1 Mile walk to benefit St. Charles Catholic School. We are encouraging all families to participate. School Pictures
September 17th & 18th 
Reed Portrait Group will be at St. Charles to take student photos on September 17 & 18. Reed has requested that we take the students fall photos in their uniforms and take spring photos in dress clothes. In exchange for the switch, Reed will give us an all school composite and additional student items for free.
Students need to wear their uniforms on both September 17 & 18.
Order forms will be sent home the week of September 14.
Spring dates for dress up photos are to be determined. 

Weekly School Mass

Please join us as we celebrate weekly Mass every Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. Each homeroom takes turns planning Mass throughout the school year.

New FIRE T-Shirts Available!

25% of sales benefits FIRE Foundation. These cool new tees are approved as school spirit wear. Shirt orders will be delivered in early October to selected schools for free or may be shipped for a fee. Hurry, the deadline to order is September 23rd if you would like to have your shirt in time to wear during FIRE Ball Week (October 12-16).
Shirt samples are available in the school office.

Spanish
Mrs. Zully Jimenez, from The Language Project, will begin teaching Spanish to our Kindergarten-Third graders on Tuesday, September 8. This is a 30 week immersion Spanish program.  We are excited to have Mrs. Jimenez in our school and look forward to seeing the children learn a new language.  

Box Tops For Education
The Box Top Store will be up and running soon! Thanks to our volunteers, we are again able to offer the children in grades PreK-5 the opportunity save Box Tops and use them to shop for fun items.  Grades 6-8 will have the opportunity to earn dress down days.  Please watch your email for opening day!
