|
Congratulations to Lauren Henry for being selected to attend We Day in recognition of her dedication to service! "We Day is the world's largest youth empowerment event of its kind, created to ignite students' passion to be active global citizens."
Tickets couldn't be purchased for We Day, they had to be earned. Lauren was 1 of only 50 students to receive a highly coveted ticket from one of the event's corporate sponsors, Amway, to attend We Day in Seattle, Washington.
There she and 15,000 other young people were inspired by a remarkable lineup of speakers and performers including Magic Johnson, Jennifer Hudson, Martin Luther King III, NBA All-Star Gary Payton and quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, Russell Wilson, among others.
