ThirdGrade3rd Grade Teaching Team Announced

Thank you for the support you have given to Mrs. Geib, who has stepped into Mrs. Lee's third grade classroom with ease.  The transition, although difficult because of the circumstances, has gone very smoothly.

Mrs. Geib graciously offered to substitute for the month in third grade, however is unable to continue full-time after January 30 because of a part-time commitment to her church.  We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Geib and Mrs. Denisar will be team-teaching our third grade beginning in February. Mrs. Geib will teach language arts, math, and Bible in the morning, and Mrs. Denisar will teach social studies and science in the afternoon.

Mrs. Denisar retired last May after teaching at SCS for 30 years and has been a substitute teacher this school year. She knows our community well, has a BA and MA in education, and holds a Florida teaching certificate for grades 1-6. Mrs. Denisar has a passion for social studies and science.

Thanks again for your support throughout this transition, and your continued prayers for Mrs. Lee and her family.
