We Need Your Auction Donations
|
 54th Annual Auction & Festival
February 15 & 16
Your help with "Gift Gathering" is essential for us to have a successful Auction! The money raised from the Annual Auction & Festival helps bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student.
For every item you "gather" or donate worth $20 or more, you will receive an entry into the 25%-Off-Tuition Drawing for the 2013-14 school year! Be sure to turn in items by Friday, December 21 to be eligible. ( official drawing rules)
The goal of Gift Gathering is to collect item donations for the Auction from businesses that SCS families frequent and support. Gift Gathering now encourages companies to donate before the end of the year and before the holiday hustle and bustle. It also gives the Auction Committee time to enter the hundreds of items that are collected. Donation forms are available in the front office.
New to the school? Want to see what the Auction & Festival is all about? Questions? Contact Betsy Christner at 371-6481, ext. 222.

"The more you read, the more things yo u will know. The more that you learn,
the more places you'll go."
From I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!
by Dr. Seuss
Take a break from your holiday shopping and join the PTA and Michelle Jensen, SCS librarian, for coffee, donuts and important information on the topic of reading. If your child would choose leafy green vegetables and chores over reading a book, then this seminar is for you. Mrs. Jensen will share some valuable tips on how to encourage children to become better and more passionate readers.

Wreath & Spray Orders Arrive Next Week |
Order Pick-Up
If you purchased items to be delivered to the school, they will be available for pick up sometime next week in the main lobby (we don't know the exact day of delivery yet). The best time to pick up is after school and at drop-off in the morning. It is important that you pick up your items by Friday afternoon. If you cannot pick them up or need to set up a special time to pick up, please contact Christine Winsler at 356-1088 or christinewinsler@comcast.net .
Forgot to order an item? No worries!
Because we have to order by the case, we have a few extra items. A picture of available items with descriptions and pricing is on a display board in the main hallway. Sign your name on the form on the display board or contact Christine Winsler to reserve yours!
Merry Christmas and thank you for supporting the PTA!
