October 2012 | |
Greetings!
I am pleased to announce that Jim Miller has accepted our offer as Vice President, Philanthropy and Chief Development Officer at Children's Hospital Central California and will begin leading the Foundation and Guilds in early November. Jim comes to us most recently from Children's Hospital and Health System of Wisconsin, where he served as president and chief executive officer of its Foundation. He also held a similar role while at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Jim brings a wealth of experience in philanthropy and development to this position, and we look forward to the great things he plans to do for our Foundation. Jim and his wife, Sheryl, are excited about this opportunity and their move to California. I know you will join me in welcoming the Millers to our community. Sincerely, Todd Suntrapak President and Chief Executive Officer |

Color the Skies
An annual crowd pleaser
A crowd of over 10,000 North Valley residents visited Mistlin Park in Ripon, Calif., during the 7th annual Color the Skies Balloon Festival Labor Day weekend.
Packed with good food, kid-friendly activities and family entertainment, Color the Skies grows in popularity each year.
Generous sponsors, vendors and volunteers raised $50,000 this year to benefit Central California's only dedicated, pediatric hospital and help patients like the 2012 Color the Skies ambassador, Bella Gardette

About the Foundation
We believe deeply in the power of philanthropy to save children's lives. When you donate to Children's, your dollar is helping to fund life-saving technology, advance clinical services, provide a safety net for children, with little or no private medical insurance, and create a healing environment that enriches the experience of our patients and their families.

We thank you!
