CTE ADMINISTRATIVE INTERNS
The 2014-15 class of CTE Administrative Interns has been selected. Congratulations to the 15 Interns who will begin their training in September and graduate in May. They will receive 15 upper-level credits from Central Washington University upon completion of the internship program.

Microsoft IT Academy

Virtual Learning | 2nd Thursday Every Month | 8-9 A.M.

 

General Information

 
This FREE week-long day camp, July 21-25, 2014, is geared toward increasing access and opportunities in nursing to minority and low-income high school sophomores and juniors. Application deadline is April 15, 2014.
    
Application packets must be received via email. Deadline is April 18, 2014.
 
Open to sophomores and juniors in an undergraduate degree program pursuing study in the areas of physical sciences, engineering, or aviation or aerospace related fields. Application deadline is April 30, 2014.
  
Nominate individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to CTE, programs that exemplify the highest standards, and organizations that have conducted activities to promote and expand CTE programs. Deadline is May 1, 2014.

 

Action for Healthy Kids

School grants for healthy kids change schools and improve students' lives. Transform your school, increase students' access to healthy food, incorporate daily physical activity. Grants will range from $500 to $5,000.

Apply online before May 2, 2014.

 

Microsoft IT Academy Top 10 Schools

The Microsoft IT Academy has over 196 schools testing students with over 38,003 exams passed and 10,229 total certifications as of March 26, 2014.

  
Bonney Lake High School and Stadium High School award winners!
 
Apply to participate in the 5-day electronic guitar design and build learning new hands-on applications for STEM education. Open to all STEM educators primarily focused in the 9-12 high school grades.
  

Career Skills Exams and Certifications

The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and Precision Exams (www.precisionexams.com) are excited to announce our new partnership to deliver standardized CTE assessments statewide.
