PERKINS

  • The CTE program office will be distributing carry over funds from program year 2012-13.  Districts may see a slight increase in their district's Perkins allocation in February.
  • A few districts have not received final approval on current year Perkins 5-Year Grant.
    • Applications in "Needs More Work" status
      • Districts need to make the necessary adjustments to their Perkins application as requested by the CTE program office in order for OSPI to process and final approve the grant.  
    • Districts in "Pending" status  
      • Districts are missing a Perkins Performance Improvement Plan (PPIP) or an End of Year report (form package 477).
 
CEDARS
  • The 2014-15 CEDARS Manual and Appendices will be released sometime in February. CTE did not have any changes.
  • There are no dropped CIP codes for the 2014-15 school year.
  • There are changes in the CEDARS Appendices and CIP code chart to the 2014-15 school year. All changes are in red.
  • The following new CIP codes will be added in the 2014-15 school year:
    • 110701 - Introduction to Computer Science
    • 120501 - Baking and Pastry Arts/Baker/Pastry Chef
    • 512210 - Global Health
