StingRay is environmentally stable from 0 degrees to 150 degrees and completely immune to water, ice or snow.

StingRay provides unprecedented wide coverage angles (170 degree hemispherical radiation) of sound across all frequencies from 35Hz to 18kHz.

StingRay has received an IEC Ingress Protection Rating of IP-68. A rating of IP-67 is the standard maximum IEC IP rating, meaning a device is fully dust proof and waterproof down to 1 meter depth for 30 minutes.
Beyond that, Stealth Acoustics specified more strident testing to receive a higher IP-68 rating. We specified the StingRay water test to be for 64 hours at 1 meter depth. We achieved this goal easily and now have the only outdoor speaker with an IP-68 rating.
