The local rescue, Friends of Rescue (FOR), has partnered with the HCES 4th grade GATE service learning group to collect gently-used shoes to send to needy people in Haiti. Wooftrax delivers the shoes and then donates money to FOR for the shoes that we will collect.
The money will help FOR rescue more animals. Please take this opportunity to purge your shoe collection, help local homeless animals and help the needy in Haiti.
There will be a collection box marked "FOR Shoe Collection" in the HCES lobby for two weeks. Collections began Monday, March 7 and will continue until Friday, March 18.
