 Middle School students are invited to hang out at The Lodge with your friends on Friday, February 8, 6-9 p.m., for Friday Night Live! Enjoy great activities, cool games, fitness classes and more. Free pizza is available from 6-7 p.m. while supplies last! A ticket can be purchased for $5 at the door. Participants should remember to bring their swimsuit, towel, tennis shoes and best behavior! |
Photography Classes Begin Next Week!
 The Lodge is offering an introductory photography class and Photoshop 101 class for adults on Wednesday afternoons beginning February 13. Participants will learn digital photography skills such as lighting, composition and color. Bringing your own digital camera is recommended but not required. Arbor Day Poster Contest Deadline!
 In honor of our 30th year as a Tree City U.S.A., we are holding a poster contest for 5th graders who live, learn or play in Des Peres. All entries must be original artwork created by a student currently in the 5th grade. A student may enter the contest only once. Entry deadline: February 15, 2013. Home Alone Class!
 This St. Louis Children's Hospital class will help parents and children determine the child's readiness physically, mentally, socially and emotionally to stay home alone and help prepare them for this experience. Workbooks for both parent and child are provided. Class is Saturday, February 23, 1-2:30 p.m., at The Lodge. Registration is required by calling 314-454-KIDS. |
Waterpark Lifeguard Training Courses!
 Are you in need of Lifeguard Training for that summer or year-round position? Take an American Red Cross Waterpark Lifeguard Training course through The Lodge. Sessions begin in March. Box Car Drive-In Movie: Cars 2!
 Create your very own car from a cardboard box and 'drive-in' to our indoor Drive-In Movie at The Lodge on Saturday, March 9. We will have a 'Best in Show' car contest with the car you made at home. Load up on popcorn before we settle down to watch Disney's Cars 2. Please bring your own box car and chairs. Limited concessions are available from our indoor cafe.
