Healthy Resolutions Health Fair!
 Kick off the New Year with our "Healthy Resolutions for 2013" Health Fair and Super Saturday event on January 12, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. This year's event will include mini-sessions from local guest speakers as well as free health screenings. Super Saturday will showcase the services offered by the fitness department such as free group exercise classes provided by our enthusiastic and experienced instructors. Please join Noodles & Co., Des Peres Hospital, Clarkson Eyecare, community wellness vendors, as well as your own Lodge Staff, to learn ways to lead a healthier lifestyle in 2013. Kindermusik Demo - January 14!
 Children up to age 6 with an adult are invited to laugh, move, play percussion instruments and enjoy musical story time. For families who have not previously attended Kindermusik, join us for a sampling of this educational and joyful music and movement program on Monday, January 14, 9:30-10:30 a.m. In partnership with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, a $5 donation is suggested. Recruitment Sessions for Lodge Positions!
 The Lodge Des Peres will begin hosting Recruitment Sessions for potential new Lodge employees. Most positions available will be for the summer season, however year round positions will be included as openings become available. Anyone wishing to submit an application is required to attend a recruitment session. The purpose of the session is to give expectations for potential employees to be sure that job requirements match employee expectations. Children's Hospital: Babysitting 101!
 Considering hiring a new babysitter? Enroll him or her in this St. Louis Children's Hospital class at The Lodge! This class is a great introduction to the basics of babysitting and includes a 28-page workbook. Topics include: the business of babysitting; child development; safety and first aid; fun and games.  Please program The Lodge Weather Hotline number into your phone: 314-835-6102. Weather cancellations are also posted on the website. Remember that The Lodge cancels all classes and programs when the Parkway School District is closed for inclement weather. Personal training, private swim lessons and private sport lessons are cancelled at the discretion of the trainer or instructor. |
