Dear (Contact First Name),
Help us to better serve our youth this year.

The holiday season is often filled with laughter, love and a sense of wonder. Why stop there?

Our teaching artists create these same moments throughout the year with hands-on arts experiences.

Give a gift now to Young Audiences, and join us in creating moments of wonder all year long for our young people.

"A tree describes me, because I see myself as reaching for the sky no matter what season!"
-Shahida, participant in the Most at Risk program

You can choose to experience a work of art every day.

Now you have the chance to give that gift to others.
  • A gift of as little as $25 will provide arts supplies for our artists to engage young people in hands-on experiences.
  • A gift of $200 is equivalent to giving 30 children a single workshop experience with a teaching artist.
  • A gift of $350 is equivalent to giving 300 children an assembly program or large-scale workshop with a teaching artist's ensemble.
  • A gift of $1,000 or more is equal to a small residency program, with week-long workshops and multiple teaching artist visits.

Uncover your inner artist.

And help young people discover theirs.

Thank you.

Happy 85th Birthday to Joseph Sterman!

Joseph Sterman celebrated his birthday with a true gift of heart - 31 individual donations to Young Audiences, from his friends and family. They chose to honor Joseph's 85th year by supporting an organization that has been close to his heart for many years.

Joe was friends with our beloved Patricia Cotsen, a late board member; as well as with our current board member, Susan Levy; and, finally, Joe is Nancy Sterman's, our Director of Education, uncle.

Thank you Joe. It sincerely touches us that you chose to support us in this way. On behalf of all the children we serve we wish you the happiest of birthdays.

Get in touch if you would like to work with us to commemorate your major event. You can reach us at 716-881-0917 or at [email protected].

Tips from Teaching Artists
Annette Daniels Taylor

As a teaching artist, have you ever heard the phrase "Those who can, do; those who can't, teach"?

Annette Daniels Taylor, Education Associate and lead Teaching Artist, suggests that those who can, can and should teach: "Even though it may be true for some teachers that those that can't, teach, for today's teaching artists, many of us have been trained to integrate our art forms, perspectives, and skills into a wide range of settings."
