Challenge Yourself to 100 Missouri Miles

The 100 Missouri Miles Challenge was launched in 2013 to celebrate Missouri's incredible trail system and to promote outdoor physical activity. The challenge is now in its third year, and once again Governor Nixon and The First Lady are championing the Challenge.

"From the beginning, the response from Missourians all across the state was overwhelming, as Missourians logged over 1.1 million miles on Missouri trails in 2013. They nearly doubled that in 2014 by notching 2.1 million miles, pushing our total to over 3,000,000 miles over the first two years of the challenge. From cities and suburbs to our small towns and rural areas, Missourians have tackled this challenge as an opportunity to get active and healthy, while enjoying Missouri's beautiful outdoors," Governor Nixon said.

Take the pledge to camp - in your backyard, state and national parks, cabins, RVs - and be a part of the nationwide event. Everyone should get outside at least once this summer and connect with nature.

Trout Fest
THIS WEEKEND ~ June 6-7, 2015

Join CFM at Bennett Springs State Park during free fishing this weekend (June 6 and 7) to catch some fish while celebrating conservation in Missouri.

Bennett Spring is one of the most popular State Parks in Missouri, with visitors coming from all across the Midwest each year to fish, camp, picnic and more. The spring from which the park derives its name is the third largest in the state, producing an average of 100,000,000 gallons of water a day that pour into the Niangua River. This makes for prime trout fishing habitat and opportunity.

Trout Fest is going to be all about family fun centered around fishing.
