Please make plans to join us tomorrow evening for the Federation Fundraiser in Columbia at the Tiger Hotel as we come together in support of Missouri's unique and successful model of Conservation.

The purpose of the dinner is to further educate and inform attendees about the legislation conservation is currently facing, and the efforts of CFM to combat the legislation.

We are pleased to announce Jackie Smith, NFL Hall of Fame tight end and former legislator Chris Kelly are set to speak.

The $100 per plate dinner includes a duo of broiled shrimp scampi and a petite filet of beef with seasoned green beans and garlic roasted mashed potatoes.

There will be wine service at the tables and a cash bar starting at 6:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased online until 4:30 p.m. or by calling the CFM office at (573) 634-2322 until 5:00 p.m. today (February 27).

CFM Convention 2011

Please make plans to join us March 20-22 at our 79th Annual CFM Convention in Jefferson City at the Capitol Plaza Hotel. We are making preparations for our biggest and best convention ever.

Each year many businesses, affiliates and individuals contribute to our success by underwriting part of our costs for the weekend. We are deeply grateful for this incredible generosity. If you are planning to attend and have any items for our auction please get them to us at your earlier convenience. This will allow us time to plan for their effective use.

So, mark your calendar, and plan to join us as we celebrate conservation at your annual convention.

Living with the wildlife around you can mean something different if you live in a big city or a small town, in the mountains or the plains, but regardless of where you call home, there are hundreds of plants and animals that share it with you.

During the celebration of National Wildlife Week, the National Wildlife Federation and their partners will highlight connections to wildlife by exploring ways to interact with the wildlife in your area, ways to handle your local predators, and how to keep the wild alive everywhere.

National Wildlife Week is National Wildlife Federation's longest-running education program designed around teaching and connecting kids to the awesome wonders of wildlife. For questions about National Wildlife Week, email [email protected].

New Interactive Advocacy Portal
Has Been Launched

The Conservation Federation of Missouri has launched a new Interactive Advocacy Portal. Once signed up, the system will allow residents to see who their representatives are and send already written emails directly to them with the click of a button.

Conservation in Missouri is experiencing attacks like never before. Legislative bills are threatening our successful Department of Conservation by eliminating funding sources and altering conservation authority. This new advocacy portal allows Missourians to have a greater voice in these policy issues that affect conservation and our precious natural resources.By working together, our voices will be heard by decision makers before they act on your behalf.
