79th Annual Convention

Please make plans to join us March 20-22 at our 79th Annual CFM Convention in Jefferson City at the Capitol Plaza Hotel. We are making preparations for our biggest and best convention ever.

Each year many businesses, affiliates and individuals contribute to our success by underwriting part of our costs for the weekend. We are deeply grateful for this incredible generosity. If you are planning to attend and have any items for our auction please get them to us at your earlier convenience. This will allow us time to plan for their effective use.

So, mark your calendar, and plan to join us as we celebrate conservation at your annual convention.

OAKs Missouri Outdoor Summit

Studies show that spending time outdoors provides numerous health benefits for children and adults alike. Benefits include enhanced mental and physical health, increased student learning from outdoor education and so much more.

Join CFM at our inaugural Missouri Outdoor Summit to learn more about these advantages that could be beneficial to so many Missourians. There will be keynote speakers focusing on the merits of enjoying the outdoors, followed by concurrent sessions highlighting resources and outdoor opportunities and will end with facilitated discussion groups for attendees to participate in. Runge Conservation Nature Center in Jefferson City is hosting the event. It will begin the morning of March 19 and conclude at noon on March 20, just in time for CFM's Annual Convention.

This summit, convened on by the Outdoor Action Committee, is geared toward people interested in connecting adults and children to nature and educating them about the advantages. That includes health professionals, parks and recreation departments, education professionals, volunteers and more. If you fall into one of those categories and would like to learn about how to connect people to the outdoors join us for the Missouri Outdoor Summit.
