OCOM Bulletin
MAY 2014

While the pink blooms on the waterfront across from OCOM's downtown campus may have faded, the glow from our second annual Cherry Blossom Dinner and Awards event remains. At this year's dinner, OCOM celebrated champions advancing the transformation of health care through Chinese medicine with 200 of our closest supporters, and raised more than $50,000 for the college's annual fund. Thank you to all who supported OCOM in making this year's event so successful.

There are many more exciting events on the horizon. Our May and June events -- all of which are free -- support your health and promote integrative medicine learning opportunities. Read on for details.

We are also proud to highlight two graduates leading the way through their international public health work: Sara O'Byrne and Chi Wilburn. Learn more about OCOM, our graduates and the visionary work they are engaged in by checking out some of our archived publications, including last year's Annual Report. You can also join us in May at one of our OCOM Roadshows in Bend and Hood River. These casual gatherings feature information about Chinese medicine, a presentation on the history of the medicine in Oregon, and lots of opportunity to network and ask questions. Hope to see you there.

Yours in good health,

Director of Community Relations and Giving

Joining the OCOM Community

OCOM is thrilled that our 2014 Cherry Blossom Dinner and Awards fundraising event was such a great success. Thanks to the generous support of our community at the dinner and throughout the year, we are close to reaching our goal of raising $75,000 for our annual fund by June 30.

Our annual fund supports the mission of the college, and donations from a wide range of community partners and friends is what allows us to continue transforming health care one patient and one student at a time. This year, we are especially focused on expanding our supporters to include new friends. Please consider making a contribution of $50, $100, $250, $500 or more today to support our ongoing efforts to transform health and health care. Thank you!
