OCOM Celebrates 30 Years
This year marks an amazing milestone in the life of OCOM: Our 30th anniversary!
Anniversaries are a great opportunity to reflect on the past, celebrate success and create space to envision the future. Much of OCOM's success over the last 30 years is directly attributable to the commitment of faculty, staff and community supporters who have worked together to help make it the number one acupuncture college in the country. "From our humble beginnings," says President Michael Gaeta, "today OCOM is recognized as one of the best acupuncture colleges in the U.S. ---- we have created one of the first and most respected doctoral Chinese medicine programs, our faculty and students are actively involved in ground-breaking research, and our clinics provide more than 28,000 annual patient visits, making positive health impacts in our community. This is truly an incredible story ---- I thank every one of you who has helped make OCOM the success it is today."
The college will celebrate the milestone with our community of supporters at the 30th Anniversary Open House on Saturday, October 12. Invitations coming soon! In the meantime, stay informed by visiting our website and our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/OCOMPDX.
