continuingedThe State of CE: OCOM's Continuing Education Series

OCOM recently kicked-off the college's new calendar of Continuing Education classes with a number of well-attended and exciting events. Swiss physician and acupuncturist, Armin Koch, MD presented on time-based acupuncture techniques, and faculty member and AOM researcher Rosa Schnyer, DAOM, LAc led two days of lectures that included the art and process of writing acupuncture case studies and the relationship between chronic disease and the digestive process.

weekendclinics2013 Weekend Specialty Clinics

OCOM's 2013 series of Weekend Specialty Clinics run through June 16 and will focus on three areas of health and wellness: women's health, pain management and mental health. These doctoral specialty clinics are led by experts in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Visiting scholars and OCOM faculty and staff supervise practitioners in our doctoral program in acupuncture and Oriental medicine (DAOM).

 

Weekend Specialty Clinic visits are $25 each and are held at OCOM's new campus in downtown Portland: 75 NW Couch Street. Please call in advance to schedule an appointment: 503-445-0951.
