Jennifer and Hailey

Hoof Beats members and family get ready for our first family trail ride this year.

If you did not ride in this event last year you will need to attend Jess's Trail Safety class

Saturday May 12th at 3 PM.

Jess will be assigning horses for the ride and helping everyone with saddling and safety. She will guide you through a short ride around the farm to get everyone prepared.

On May 27th you will need to pack a lunch, snack, and drinks. We will be leaving the farm at 11 AM to ride to Robin Hill Park. We are looking forward to having you.

For more details, please contact Mary or Jess.

 Kathy & Hazel
Adult Horsemanship

Last month's Adult Workshop focused on Condition and Position for the Rider. We started out with a short session with certified personal trainer, Grace Lambert. She showed us some exercises we could do at home to strengthen our core muscles.

Then we went into the arena and did some fun things on the ground that helped us see how important core strength and balance can be for both our horse and us. Afterwards, we rode our horses through various obstacles that Mary had set up to warm up the group. Then we progressed to some fun games where Mary coached riders on how their focus and balance could improve their communication and make the games more fun for the horse.

We appreciate everyone who came to play. Please let Mary know if you are interested in having your ride on DVD. All DVD's are free to participants.

If you have been enjoying the Adult Horsemanship play days we would love to have you join us at our Adult Beach Camp. We spend 4 days at the beach playing games that improve our riding and horsemanship.

Adult Beach camp

July 26th to July 29th

Please let us know if you would like to join us at the beach.
