Thank you everyone,

      I wanted to begin this news letter with a big thank you to everyone who has been a part of making Freedom Farm such a wonderful place for learning and enjoying horses. All your efforts have made a difference in the joy Freedom Farm gives to our community.

Thank you for;

supporting your child's growth, developing your horse and horsemanship, participating in the farm activities, taking care of the arena and parking area, participating behind the scenes, feeding, teaching, volunteering your time, playing with the cows and dogs, cleaning, caring and maintaining the facility.

You are all appreciated.

Blessing to everyone,

 Mary

If you're looking for a fun birthday party idea, then try planning your party around a mini beats day. The viewing room is large enough for parties and the horse game make a great activity for all the children attending. All Mini Beat proceeds are a benefit for Peninsula Friends of Animal so please give what you can.

Horse Health

Audrey Bryant of Sound Horse Solutions carries the whole line of Zephyr's Garden products. Zephyr's Garden produces all natural herbal topicals to help with your horse's health. With the wet season upon us it means it's also the season for Scratches, Rain Rot, and topical fungus.

Zephyr's Garden offers two products to combat these problems. Anti-Fungal Salve and Anti-Fungal Spray.

Below are some of the highlights of these two fantastic products:

  The Anti-Fungal Salve was chosen as "Top Product of the Year", by CA Riding Magazine, Oct. 2008. It  is really ANTI-MICROBIAL, meaning it's equally effective on fungal and bacterial infections, which is why it is perfect for both Scratches and Rain Rot.  The salve comes in both 4 oz. and 8 oz. jars.

The Anti-Fungal Spray was created due to customers requesting a lighter, non-oil based version of the salve.  The spray contains similar ingredients to the salve, but they are not exactly the same.  It is perfect for dermatitis on any part of the body and is light enough to use on the head/ear/chest area.  Great for elbow and girth crud and excellent for "lighter" cases of Rain Rot and Scratches.

The Anti-Fungal Spray comes in a convenient 16 oz. spray bottle.
