It takes dozens of people to make a community theater thrive. Antrim has a core of very dedicated volunteers who work hard to make us the very best theater in the area. However, we need help. We are in desperate need of people who have experience in the following areas or are willing to learn:
. Marketing
. Advertising
. Sales
. Benefits
. Graphic Design
. Stage Managing
. Producing
. Light/Sound Design and 
Just to name a few. If you are retired and looking for a way to get involved in an extremely worthwhile and rewarding endeavor or just want to use your skills or learn a new one I urge you to contact us. Please email

We are beginning our playbill ad campaign. Our goal to is sell enough ads to make the playbill profitable for Antrim to produce. As you know we have one of the most professional looking playbills of any community theater and we want to keep it that way. In order to do that we are asking all our members, subscribers and friends to help us sell ads. Click the link below to obtain a copy of our ad form which explains everything you need to know to sell ads. Please print the form and take it with you when you visit any local business you usually frequent. It is a a very inexpensive way for any business to reach thousands of potential customers and helps our wonderful theater at the same time.  Remember to put your name at the bottom of the form and you will receive a prize when the ad is sold.

President's Corner  

Dear Antrim Patrons,

I hope everyone is faring well during our snowy winter season. I want to thank all those who braved the snow to come see our production of Other People's Money in January. The show was very well received and cudos to the Derek Tarson and the entire cast and crew.

As you may know, due to licensing issues, we are forced to change our final show for this season. The owners of The Sunshine Boys are in negotiations to bring this show to broadway and no licenses are being granted while this process is going on. However, we will be presenting another famous Neil Simon play in its place, Laughter On The 23rd Floor. This hilarious comedy, which has never been done at Antrim, deals with the time Neil Simon spent as a comedy writer for television. The show will run on the same dates as were scheduled for the Sunshine Boys and members can use those tickets for this show. So there is nothing you need do other than come and enjoy the show.


Our "Cruise For 2" raffle to Bermuda is going strong. We are now offering the ability to buy tickets online through our website. You can either add on the raffle tickets when you purchase show tickets or click the button at the top of the home page to buy raffle tickets only. This is a quick and secure way for you to take a chance on this wonderful prize and to help Antrim at the same time. There is a $1.25 fee for online purchases. And remember, we need people to sell the tickets. Everyone is welcome to sell them as a way of helping your theater raise money. As an added bonus for every 15 tickets you sell you get a free one for yourself. Just see me or any board member at the show to get your tickets or send an email to info@antrimplayhouse;com and someone will get back to you.


Our repertory committee is putting the final touches on the productions planned for our 77th consecutive season in 2013-2014. This slate will be announced and memberships will be open beginning with our musiacal "Damn Yankees" which opens on April 12th. 


 As I do every month, I want to once again thank the teams of actors, production staff and volunteers who make our productions possible and to the countless other people who work everyday of the season to make this theater run. I would be remiss if I didn't thank you, our loyal patrons, for supporting us. Without you none of this would be possible or necessary.

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Sharon Rose. Sharon was a member of Antrim for many years, appeared in many of our productions and was a past board of directors member. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and we will miss her greatly.
