HELP US SELL ADS FOR OUR PLAYBILL

We are beginning our playbill ad campaign. Our goal to is sell enough ads to make the playbill profitable for Antrim to produce. As you know we have one of the most professional looking playbills of any community theater and we want to keep it that way. In order to do that we are asking all our members, subscribers and friends to help us sell ads. Click the link below to obtain a copy of our ad form which explains everything you need to know to sell ads. Please print the form and take it with you when you visit any local business you usually frequent. It is a a very inexpensive way for any business to reach thousands of potential customers and helps our wonderful theater at the same time.  Remember to put your name at the bottom of the form and you will receive a prize when the ad is sold.

President's Corner

Dear Antrim Patrons,

I hope everyone had a happy and healthy holiday season and welcome to 2013 at Antrim. 2012 was a very challenging year for us as I'm sure it was for you. However, despite rising production costs and decreasing revenues, I think we succeeded in bringing you a wonderful year of live theater.
Our repertory committee is busy lining up our slate of shows for next season and I know, with your help, we will continue to bring you the very best in community theater productions.

One way you can help our theater financially is to take advantage of our great raffle opportunity. A 7 day cruise for 2 to Bermuda. The ship leaves from Bayonne on September 29th so there is no airfare to worry about. The prize value of this all expenses paid cruise is $1,500.00 so if you don't want to cruise on that date you can work with the travel agent to pick a new date or choose a totally different type of vacation and you can apply the prize value to that trip. That is a really good deal for only $10. Tickets will be sold at every performance and the winner will be selected at our final performance of Damn Yankees on Sunday May 12th. You can also help Antrim and yourself by selling raffle tickets. For every 15 tickets you sell you receive a free ticket. Just contact Frank Caramanica at fcar101@hotmail.com or Marty Andreas at phenmar@optonline.net and they will help get you started. You can also contact Marty or Frank to purchase tickets if you don't want to wait until our performances.

Please remember that Antrim cannot survive without the help and support of our members and patrons. Please support us by volunteering your time, buying raffle tickets and/or making a tax deductible donation to enable us to continue to bring you the best productions possible. You can make your donation online at our website at www.antrimplayhouse.com or by mailing us a check made out to the Antrim Players and mailed to PO Box 292 Suffern, NY 10901. Any amount is greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance for your support. Please include your name so we can acknowledge you in our playbill.

As I do every month, I want to once again thank the teams of actors and production staff who make our productions possible and to the countless other volunteers who work everyday of the season to make this theater run. I would be remiss if I didn't thank you, our loyal patrons, for supporting us. Without you none of this would be possible or necessary.

Thank You and I'll see you at the theater,

Marty Andreas

General Meeting
Come to our general meeting on Wednesday January 23rd at 7:30PM to find out what is happening at your theater. You can also stay and enjoy a wonderful workshop directed by Samantha Feig

"Fat Pig," written by Neil LaBute, is a show about Tom, a young professional, who falls for Helen, a plus-sized librarian. Their relationship is complicated from the very start- Tom's friends and coworkers are suspicious of his personal life, as he is hiding it from them to save Helen and himself from their judgements. This is the story of how difficult it is to love in a time of superficiality.

Cast:
Tom- Rob Vazquez
Helen- Bridget Emsworth
Carter- Justin Caramanica
Jeannie- Samantha Dubbiosi

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Sharon Rose. Sharon was a member of Antrim for many years, appeared in many of our productions and was a past board of directors member. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and we will miss her greatly.
