Cultivating Connections affirms and explores the connections between environmental sustainability, social justice and spiritual fulfillment, and the role we each are called to play in bringing forth a vibrant Earth Community, by offering workshops, study groups, retreats, conferences, sacred celebrations and other programs around the themes of environmental spirituality, personal empowerment, and the new cosmology.

If you keep telling the same sad small story, you will keep living the same sad small life. ~Jean Houston

Finding the Mythic in Our Own Unique Stories explores the power of story and the inspiration which lies waiting to be discovered within our own unique life journey.  It examines ways to harness our fascination with story in order to help us consciously create a healthier, more joyful and connected life.

This workshop examines the connections between the stories we tell and who we are, between the stories we tell and what is possible in our lives and in the larger world.

I asked myself "What is the myth you are living?"  and found that I did not know.  So . . . I took it upon myself to get to know my "myth", and I regarded this as the task of tasks . . . I simply had to know what unconscious  or preconscious myth was forming me. ~CG Jung

Story is far older than the art of science and psychology, and will always be the elder in the equation no matter how much time passes.
~Clarissa Pinkola Estes

The universe is made of stories, not atoms.
~Muriel Rukeyser

The Goal of Finding the Mythic in Our Own Unique Stories is to provide participants with a general understanding of our deep cultural and personal relationship with story and with our power to influence and co-create our lives by bringing sacred meaning and context to our own stories. The center piece of this workshop provides each participant with the opportunity to share and explore the meaning of at least one personal story.
