How is it for you to move into the New Year, leaving 2014 behind? How do you experience the tension between past and future? Do you feel excitement and inspiration in your life? Do you experience the future as an invitation to move forward? Or are you unable to move forward, feeling stuck? Are there some areas in your life you feel stuck? Others free?

Are there some areas in your life you feel stuck? Others free?

Perhaps this tension is your life question.

How free are you of the past? What residues of the past weigh on you as you move into the New Year? What remains unfinished? Relationships? Promises? Commitments? Thoughts or emotions?

We have the belief that the past should be let go of. How often have we held ourselves up to this expectation, only to realize we are just the same person with the same baggage - perhaps packed differently.

What if we did something different? What if we invited our unfinished business? What if we felt it, heard it, and touched it. What if, in doing so, we experience an insight, recognition or a quickening.

What if, by including what we want to be rid of, we can truly transcend and move into 2015.

Perhaps then can we live into the answer.
