Dear Friend,

Don't we all want to feel good?

Don't we all want to be happy?

Times we feel low or distressed; we naturally seek ways to feel better. There are plenty of remedies being offered: a myriad of bath salts to soothe our bodies, plenty of therapists to help us process our emotions and a bounty of spiritual retreats to soothe mind and soul.

But do you want to feel good for a while, only to return to daily life and watch how those feelings dissipate within a short time, only to think about when you can go on the next vacation?

Life is life whether on vacation or not. Are you ready to have a life that is not dependent on the right vacation or the right art, yoga or writing class, but that is based on your choice and intention? Can you embody your intention to be happy and feel good, so that when things are not good it is still okay?

Painting from the Inside Out teaches you to build a greater capacity to hold whatever life offers within the greater container of your intention. Then you experience that it is not about the outside making it right for you.

Perhaps we must broaden our definition of "good" to a "goodness" that includes feeling uncomfortable at times. If we can be with our discomfort - while holding a paint brush-, out of the tightness of our frustration an inner space is created and energy can be released that propels us forward on the wave of creativity.

It is your decision; your intention that moves you forward - towards not only feeling good, but empowered!
