I love reading poetry. It takes me to a place inside where I feel expanded, more spacious, more connected to myself and what's around me. It allows me to open my heart and jump out of time as I know it.

Whether it's from reading a poem or while painting, we can allow ourselves to be guided to a wider space; a space that can hold much more than we think we know. Our heart can run with the words of a poem or with the color and stroke of the brush, ever orbiting, wriggling it's way towards our center - the place we recognize as ourselves.

Whether painting big strokes or tiny dots; whether expansive or focused, nature's weather moves through us.
